Project Rules and Workflow

A quick overview of the rules and workflows associated with projects.

Updated over 10 months ago

Users

  • All users can view projects they have been given access to.

  • Only Admins can see all projects, even if they have not been added as a user of the project.

  • Only Project Managers and Admins can access project settings, change a project's status, and delete a project.

  • Project Managers, Inspectors, and Viewers can only access projects they have explicitly been given access to.

Workflow

Completed - Read-only

If you can't edit Pay Requests, inspections, change orders, etc., within a project, it is most likely because the project is in a COMPLETED state. Projects marked COMPLETED cannot be edited. You will need to change the project back to UNDER CONSTRUCTION to edit anything with the project.
