You can edit or delete a pay request while it is the most recent one on the project and still a Draft. Administrators and Project Managers can edit and delete pay requests.
How to edit a pay request
You can edit a pay request while it is a Draft, and only the most recent pay request on the project can be edited.
Open the project's Pay Requests page.
Click the latest draft pay request to open the builder.
Change the pay period, the billed items, your adjustments, your retainage release, or your withheld release as needed.
Click Save as Draft to save your changes, or Submit to Pending to submit it.
Your changes are saved on the pay request.
How to delete a pay request
Open the project's Pay Requests page.
Delete the latest pay request while it is still a Draft.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
The pay request is removed from the list.
Note: Deleting a pay request returns any released withheld quantity to withheld and frees the daily inspections it had billed, so that work can be billed again on a later pay request. Deleted pay requests cannot be recovered.
Troubleshooting
I cannot edit or delete a pay request. Only the most recent pay request can be edited or deleted, and only while it is a Draft. Earlier pay requests are read-only.
The delete option is not available. Confirm you are an Administrator or Project Manager. A pay request also cannot be deleted on a locked project.
