Company Lists

Default lists of the contractors and sub-contractors used in Projects, Groups, and Inspections.

Below is an overview of each type of editable list within the system. All of these lists can be found by clicking the Company Lists navigation item in left-hand menu.

Permissions

In general, all Inspectors and Project Managers have the ability to add to any of the lists below in real-time. For example, if an Inspector needs to log a new Crew on a job site, the Inspector can create the new Crew directly from the Inspection screen. However, Inspectors and Project Managers are not able to edit and delete items from these lists. Only Admins can perform those tasks.


Contractors

Contractors can be associated with Projects and Groups and also with Crews and Equipment within an Inspection. Contractors in this list can be selected as either the prime or sub contractor within a Project or Group.

Rules

  • Contractors cannot have the same name.

  • Additional information can be added to contractors like the primary contact, email, phone number, and address.

  • If deleted, the contractor will not be selectable on future projects/groups and inspections, but will still be visible on past projects/groups and inspections.

  • Selected on the Project/Group settings Basics page, Inspection Personnel page, and Inspection Equipment page.


Entry Fields

Custom pieces of information that can be added to any inspection. Will appear on inspection exports.

Rules

  • Cannot have the same name as another Entry Field.

  • Selected on the Inspection Basics page.


Client Listing

The Project or Group Project owner. Usually a municipality.

Rules

  • Clients cannot have the same name as another Client.

  • Selected on the Project/Group settings Basics page.


Districts

City or country districts that can be applied to Projects and Groups. Used for sorting and reporting.

Rules

  • Districts cannot have the same name as another District.

  • Selected on the Project/Group settings Basics page.


Work Types

These are categories that can be applied to Projects and Groups. Used for sorting and reporting.

Rules

  • Work Types cannot have the same name as another Work Type.

  • Selected on the Project/Group settings Basics page.


Equipment

These are the physical pieces of equipment used on site. After adding these items to an inspection, you'll have the option to enter the idle and working hours for each equipment item.

Rules

  • Equipment items cannot have the same name as another Equipment item.

  • Contractors can be associated with equipment items when added to an inspection.

  • Selected on the Inspection Equipment page.


DI Worker Types

(Daily Inspection Worker Types)

These are the different roles or job types present on a job site. Ex: Forman, Pipe Crew, Flagger, Police Officer, etc.

Rules

  • DI Worker Types cannot have the same name as other DI Worker Types.

  • Selected on the Inspection Personnel page.


Crews

These are the different crews or groups of workers present during an inspection. Crews are associated with a single Contractor.

Rules

  • Crews must be associated with Projects.

  • Crews cannot have the same name as another Crew in the same Project. Crews with the same name can exist in separate Projects.
