The Material Certification Shortage report compares placed quantities against certified quantities across a project. Use it to spot items that are short on certification before you bill.
How to run the Material Certification Shortage Report
Open the project and go to its Reports page.
Select the Material Certification Shortage report.
Choose which items to include:
Items with a certification shortage shows only items that are short on certification.
All items that require certification shows every item that requires certification.
The report opens as a document you can review and save.
What the report shows
For each item, the report lists:
The quantity placed.
The total certified.
How much certification remains.
How much has been used.
The item's certification status.
Run the report before a pay request to catch items that are short on certification, so you can resolve them before they are billed.
Troubleshooting
An item I expected is not on the report.
If you chose Items with a certification shortage, only items that are short on certification appear. Choose All items that require certification to see every item that requires certification.
An item shows a shortage even though I added a certification.
An item reads as short until a certified quantity greater than zero is set and placements are recorded through daily inspections. Confirm the certified quantity is entered, then run the report again.
