Check the 5-Day Forecast on a project or group dashboard

View the 5-Day Forecast card on a project or group dashboard, read the detailed conditions for any day, and understand the poor-conditions warning.

The 5-Day Forecast card shows the coming five days of weather for a project or group site on its dashboard. It uses the address saved on the project or group, so the forecast reflects your actual site.

How to view the 5-Day Forecast

Open the dashboard for the project or group. The 5-Day Forecast card appears automatically when the project or group has an address with a location set.

Each day on the card shows:

  • A weather icon for the expected conditions.

  • The day label, shown as Today for the current day and then the day of the week.

  • The forecast high and low temperature.

  • A warning icon on days that look poor for outdoor work.

How to see detailed conditions for a day

On the 5-Day Forecast card, hover over any day to open a details tooltip. The tooltip shows:

  • Temperature - the forecast high and low for the day.

  • Precipitation - the chance of precipitation, and the type when expected.

  • Humidity - the forecast humidity.

  • Wind - the wind speed and direction.

  • Sun - the sunrise and sunset times.

  • A work suitability line reading Good conditions for work or Poor conditions for outdoor work.

Days with a high chance of precipitation, or with rain, snow, or storm conditions, are flagged as poor for outdoor work, so you can plan around them.

Troubleshooting

The 5-Day Forecast card is missing from my dashboard

The card only appears when the project or group has an address with a location set. Open the project or group settings and confirm the address has been added with a location. The card is also hidden while the forecast is still loading and when no forecast is available for the location.
