The Live Weather Integration brings the forecast for your project sites into Oversite and lets you record the weather on each daily inspection. It appears in three places that work together:
A 5-Day Forecast card on your project and group dashboards.
A Weather panel on each daily inspection, where you record whether the day was a weather day and capture the conditions.
A Weather Days report that summarizes the weather days you have recorded on a project or across a group.
The forecast is based on the address saved on your project or group, so it reflects conditions at your actual site rather than a general area.
How the weather feature fits into Oversite
The 5-Day Forecast card sits on the project and group dashboards, so you can check conditions before you schedule weather-sensitive work.
The Weather panel lives in the Basics step of a daily inspection, also called a DWR. It loads the conditions for the project location and the inspection date, and it holds the Weather Day toggle and Weather Notes that save with the inspection.
The Weather Days report reads the weather days you record on approved or completed inspections. It compares that count against the calendar days that approved change orders have added to the project's completion date, so you can see whether recorded weather delays have been matched by granted time extensions.

Where does the weather forecast come from?
The forecast is based on the address saved on your project or group. Oversite looks up the conditions for that location, so the forecast reflects your actual site rather than a general area.
Are the temperatures in Fahrenheit or Celsius?
The temperatures on the inspection weather panel are shown in degrees Fahrenheit.
Does capturing weather work offline?
Yes. When you create or edit an inspection offline, the weather day flag, notes, and the conditions captured before you went offline are saved with the inspection and sync when you reconnect. See Creating Inspections While Offline.
Does anyone get an email when I record a weather day?
No. Recording a weather day does not send any notifications. If a weather day affects the schedule, tell your team directly.
